The Panharmonion Plaid
£179.00
Woven Lambswool/cotton plaid throw by artist and designer Henry Chebaane. MADE IN BRITAIN.
Featured in his stunning interior design for the boutique hotel The Gyle in London King's Cross, as well as a major plot point in his Sci-Fi graphic novel The Panharmonion Chronicles: Ghosts of Sound.
This Limited-edition 200cm x 139cm original artwork is an allegory for Time and the Uncertainty Principle in Quantum Mechanics. The central part of the throw is a regular tartan grid with granular background representing the quasi-certainty of THE PRESENT. The regular grid unravels along the left and right edges to represent THE PAST fading away and THE FUTURE not yet formed.
Woven in shades of moss, charcoal, anthracite and pewter. The flat weave gives a clean, modern, slightly industrial feel, softened by the twisted black fringes at each end. VERY LIMITED AVAILABILITY.
