BRITANNIA ROCKS! Photographic print on velvet cushion cover 40 x 40cm from an original mixed media art piece by Henry Chebaane (aluminium, acrylics, spray paint). Art piece inspired by the graphic novels The Panharmonion Chronicles and Kingdom United (both written by Henry Chebaane). The classic 19th century white imperialist image of Britannia exhorting the public to 'RULE THE WAVES' as been reimagined as a punk rock artist of mixed ethnicity rousing the audience to 'WAIVE THE RULES' instead and embrace diversity of thoughts through the arts.

This iconic cushion cover is made in ENGLAND from lustrous velvet, beautifully finished with concealed zipper and black piping. (NB. sold without pad to reduce postage cost)
